First, a little background.
Sean, as some may or may not know, is independently wealthy (just kidding). He has a job working at a grocery store, and he is now able to purchase whatever he pleases for food, if he desires anything other than the daily fare of the household. Occasionally, he brings home cookies, or other goodies that, unfortunately, don't last as long in the pantry as he might expect. Dad and I have repeatedly explained that there are certain things that are simply not safe to leave unattended in the cupboard. For instance - brownies, certain types of cookies, etc. Lately, his Pop Tarts shelf life was unexpectedly brief. We do try to replace things we take, however, even those have a short shelf-life, so if he wants 'em he'd best eat 'em. OKAY. So, the other nite at the table, Sean says: "Do you like pudding?"
I'm thinking - 'hmmmm...I wonder if the lad is trying to decide if it's safe to bring pudding home...' So, I said - "I don't really like the ones in those pudding cups."
He said, "What about the kind that are in the box?"
I said, "sometimes."
He said, "Not the kind you cook, the other ones that you just mix up and then put in the refrigerator."
"Nope."
"Oh. OK." Pause. "Do you like butterscotch pudding?"
"Nope."
"Oh, OK. Gear switch. I believe butterscotch pudding might be [his brother] Brandon's favorite."
"Oh."
"I know. I have an idea. You could take my picture eating butterscotch pudding, and then put it on the blog and say 'This is Sean eating butterscotch pudding. Possibly Brandon's favorite.'"
So, there it is! Sean's idea for a blog post. So, Brandon, if you read this we hope you feel honored.
